This baby here is about to undergo a slight transfermation, here's my plan: Clifford 4bbl maninfold edelbrock 500 cfm carb lokar throttle and kick down cables Custon ground cam from a company called SLR 498 lift 290 duration at 1.5 rocker ratio forged crank cut .20/.20 1.7 1.44 SI valves ported head and polished on exuast only 66' block KB 2.2l turbo pistons 1.5mm oversized (3.504 total bore) Comp valve springs, locks, and retainers comp pushrods double timing chain from cox bros. 198 connecting rods Total seal piston rings 3100rpm custom stall converter from edge racing converters mopar 6x1 header ceramic coated MSD6a ignition fel-pro gaskets 8 3/4 rear end with 3.55 gears So far it has been fun tearing down the engine and getting it ready, I just need to collect all the parts now and that mean $$$$. My goal is to be done with this motor in less than a year so I can start racing. As for the 1/4 mile, I would love to get into the 15's at first and then work my way up from there. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. |

That's pretty close to the same combination I have in my moder. With 3.55 gears it's gone 14:80@90 in my '66 Valiant street car. |

Got the paint prep work 90% done, soon she'll be sublime . Motor pull went off without a hitch, now I just need my machinist to finish the block. More updates soon, she would be done a little quicker but I payed for two albacore fishing trips in September and that stuff is'nt cheap. |
