There's double digits worth of threads here on electric fans, anywhere from a single to two duals along w how to wire. Try the search function at the top w quotations on both ends. It will narrow results to threads w "electric fan" instead of electric or fan. Good luck.

I've gone the electric fan route i bought one of the JDM 16" electrics off ebay for about $32 and made some aluminum mounting brackets and used some pieces of rubber that i cut from the end of rubber bungy cords as spacers

Here's a pic of that setup

I had it wired to what i believe was an emission option that wasn't being used that came out of the bulkhead that was only ON in the run position...i'm not sure what happened but the fan only lasted a month or two with limited use than it started getting hot and blowing fuses and finally burned itself out. I don't know if it was not getting enough voltage or what but after that i decided to go a different route

I then bought a set of oem dual fans that came off a nissan from a guy on cragslist for $20 and wired them to run directly off the battery to make sure they were getting enough voltage and i've got them wired to a on/off switch in the cab and so far they are still working. One fan spins faster than the other one (if they both spun fast it would really keep the engine cool) but they do keep it about 6 to 8 degrees cooler than just the single fan from what i can tell...but even with the single i didn't have any problems with overheating. I have a 180 degree thermostat

Here are some pics of my new fan set up

I would go with the dual fan route and consider buying some used oem fans locally off craigslist. Unless you have the money to buy them new

Other people may chime in on how reliable the cheaper JDM fans are on ebay...

I ran the 16" Procomp fan for about 5 years and decided that it ran too long, blew cold at the bottom hot at the top, so I went with (2) 10" JDM fans mounted at the top of the tank with a air dam at the bottom and they run much less and draw less current. This is the 3rd season running them. They easily run off one relay wired in parallel.

You can look at pictures of each set up by clicking on the red link below my name.

I use a single 16 inch fan, and I built a shroud to make it pull air over the whole radiator.

Even when it's 100 degrees or higher ,and I'm crawling up steep terrain, making it work hard, it doesn't get hot.

I have a new aluminum radiator off Ebay, like the one above.
