Much changed between 72 and 73. Many of the mechanical parts will work, but the suspensions might be quite different if you have disk brakes. Interior panels are different. Glass and doors are the same. In general your car has more plastic in it. As I upgraded my '69 I did it with parts from 73 and later cars.
