Hello all you awesome knowledgeable people. I'm a newb to the forum and to the slant 6 community, as I now have a 69 A-100 van. I'm sure I'll be on here from time to time looking for help, but for now it's the big obvious stuff I need to figure out, but im proud to say the van just needed a fresh battery, and some dirty 3 year old gas and she fires right up, and runs like a champ! you shoulda seen us .... There was no throttle return spring, and only open manifold as an open exhaust... There is also only a driver seat, we were getting it onto a trailer to get home and for a lap or two around the neighborhood with one person sitting on the wheel well in the passenger seat with his hands jimmying the throttle return spring with the doghouse open and the open exhaust two feet from our heads... Fun times. Anyways, any of you have any idea what pipe I need and where to get it to bolt to that manifold to quiet things down so you can hear yourself think? Thanks, |

Not sure the difference between and 69 and a 70, but you can find the pipe numbers on this link and select: Light duty truck, DODGE, A100, etc... then search the web for the best price... http://www.walkerexhaust.com/catalog/wa ... log-lookup Just did this with by D-100 and bought the down pipe for $65 |

Thanks, I looked there. Unfortunately it does not give you a part no. For the down pipe, just the gasket and everything else. Back to the drawing board... |

The down pipe (or head pipe) for my 83 B150 is no longer available from walker rock auto or anywhere else that I know of, so your 69 is probably not either, so your best bet is Midas- |

My van is an 87 i used a used Valore downpipe I found at a swap meet. This deleted both cats that were on mine and worked out pretty well. I bought the truck downpipe and it swings over to the passenger side and just wouldn't work. If you bought the truck one and cut it a muffler shop could probably create the rests. |
