Might sound dumb, but is there a [cost effective] way to change the bolt pattern, or should i just ditch the wheels I got that are not the correct pattern? (My bolts are 2 1/2 inches apart, the new rims are 3 inches apart, don't know how to find/report the proper bolt pattern size.). I should not have eye balled when buying them, but it was only 20 bucks for the whole set, so I could probably move them again if need be, maybe even for profit.

Gotta call discount tire and cancel my tire order though, or change sizes I guess to the 14 that are on the car now instead, I don't have a budget to get any other rims.

Let's see if this works:

So I'm guessing you have an early and/or drum brake car with the 5 on 4" spacing, which is a rather uncommon size these days. Aftermarket wheels that fit are out there, but you have to be patient. If the wheels you bought are for a Mopar, chances are they're 5 on 4.5", which is a super common pattern, so you shouldn't have a problem getting your money back out of them.

There are no cheap solutions for changing patterns on your car, sorry.

Thats what I figured.

All well, the 14's on there aren't terrible. I just got the killer deal on the rally rims and went for it and it didn't pay off. Will call and cancel the tire order from discount tire tomorrow once they're open and have already ordered a set of 14s and will get em put on at sears on Wednesday during my lunch break. At least then I can be comfortable driving around.

Hi, what kind of rims do you have that are the wrong bolt pattern, and what kind of rims are you looking for. If you have 15 in rallys I may have some 14 inch rallys to swap.
