is there any number of times that O-rings can be retorqued with out having to change them. I used an iskey kit that had copper wire and this is the third retorque , the wire seem low in the grooves? I read somewhere that mig wire was better than the copper wire that came with the kit.

I think it would be a good opportunity to upgrade to a harder wire. A copper wire is soft just like the gasket and isn't going to be as effective at "biting" into the gasket to provide a better seal.

thanks, have you heard that solid mig wire was a better choice?

Never heard of using mig wire, but I suppose its better than copper wire. I have always used precision stainless wire(music wire actually) as it fits the o-ring groove for a tighter fit and won't pop out of the groove as easily.
