Where is the best source for the 340 valve springs (price wise)?? Retainers as well??

I bought a set of retainers from comp cams for mine. You can use the slant 6 retainers with those springs but the springs are slightly larger than the stock retainer. I didn't like that so i went with the Comp ones.

My machinist found some used retainers that fit those springs. I think they are just regular SB mopar ones.

Yep, my machinist said the same thing, he just raided a box of mopar V-8 stuff and put SB retainers on...if going cheap- there are still loads of 318/360's in the junkyards.
