Got my new toys yesterday. Need 1 45 DCOE to complete the setup but I have a good start. This will be in the Colt. New territory for me, but it should work well under the flat steel hood.

Any idea of what you'll be using for jet sizes, emulsion tube sizes, etc. As I understand it all 3 carbs should be matched identically internally for best performance.

Sounds dangerous! I hope to join the indiv-runner world in the next year or so myself.

Hey Stan,

Charlie on Classic Colt recently posted that he had found some 45's for sale if anyone was interested...

I actually fiddled with my Colt just a tad today.

I was taking some pictures for someone and started looking at what I could do for a carb option...

Dartman, no idea yet on set up. I have some old info for the baseline. But if the hot ticket now days is a different cam profile for each cylinder couldin I tune each runner for each cylinder?

Lou, I had one of these 20 years ago and sold it to a street racer from NY City! Been kinda looking for one for a few years now. After mopar frank got one, I knew I had to step up my game. I will use this for my FI swap after I get the car dialed in.

Rob, yea I have been talking to him. I was going to get all three and your manifold but this one popped up and now I only need one.

Dan in Houston has a weber book coming my way. THANKS!

Anyone have linkage??????????????

I bought a linkage kit from Carbs Unlimited - http://carburetion.com/Weber/weberlinkage.asp . It's for the double or triple DCOEs but believe it will work with the triple SU set-up I have

Scored carb number 3. NEVER RUN!, same model number 45 DCOE09, second number is close 1F VS 6G. Little cruddy from sitting but it looks good on the intake!

Thanks Rick. Looking forward to hearing the motor run with these.

Any Weber folks want to share setup notes?

Exner Geek would be a good source. He runs that setup on one of his cars.

Yes that Exner Geek would be a good guy to ask. On second thought I wanted to say thanks to all the MANY folks who have helped me all these years. If I tried to list the names I would leave someone out and I don't want to do that. But thanks to all my slant six friends who have helped along the way. Funny story, to me anyway, I ran into Lou a couple of years ago and we were talking about my Barracuda. I said it ran some 13.50's at around 99 mph. Lou says, no it ran a 13.47 at 99! I was blown away. He told me he saw my car in a High Performance Mopar story and he remembered better than me. It just showed me that the circle is bigger than you think. Many folks have touched my circle and for that I am eternally grateful. Stan

Hey Stan,

Thanks to you for being an inspiration to many of us. It was great to finally meet you at Mason-Dixon after all the years since your article and your success with the Barracuda. Yes, the circle is quite strong and rich! I am thankful to many Slanters for good times and good advice over the years as well.

Enjoy the building,

Lou
