Do the slants use a nylon cam gear stock? This would be on my 87 D100. I lost a ford motor once because of an old brittle nylon cam gear and don't want the same thing to happen to this one. The timing set isn't a lot of money it's just the time to do it that's the problem LOL

Yes factory and original replacements were an aluminum body with nylon teeth. Current silent chain replacements will be all metal.
