I am so pumped! bolted on the parts pressurized the fuel and Boom! No tuning and it is running perfect. I am going to go with dual pipes to the axle with an X pipe. I will post more videos of the completed project. I am also installing classic auto air to keep me cool during the hot Cali summers.

By the way this is on my 1972 Dart Custom.

Sounds good, if you're not going to run leaded gas, I'd ask for the exahust shop to install O2 sensor bungs in or just after the collector in case you want to dial it in more or check to make sure something isn't slightly off later on.

Make sure you have good sandwich mounts it looks like one of the pipes is close to the steering box....

Ya the headers go really close to the steering box, but there is still about an inch there lol. I did not take pictures today but the exhaust is 90% done. I am really happy because I have worked so hard to get to this point and the car is really coming along.

It is a stock Weber 38 as far as I know. Tell you what though, we are having a hell of a time with the headers on the #6 port. The gasket it came with got burned out on the drive back from the exhaust shop and it seems to be because it is not sitting flush on the head. Once we get that sorted I will put up another video showing the exhaust too it sounds really nice.

I got my headers and intake from them back when jack was still alive and. I lived a few blocks from there shop in corona. Was told by jack him self to soak the clifford gasket for a few in water. Also i had to take the starter out and had to heat up a 1/2 wrench and put a good size bend at the box end to get it good and tight. This made it last a lot longer.

Ugh! I sure wish I had that advice a couple weeks ago lol. Upon receiving the headers I was unaware that they might give me trouble and the first bolt up seemed like I was home free. Talk about buzz kill! I decided to put the wrenches down for a week to clear my head and then go at it again.

Hey guys, i am happy to say that the headers intake exhaust and ac are all done. Here is a link to my pictures. I will try and put up a video tomorrow.
I really love the way the new system sounds and I am very happy with the seat of the pants performance gains.

http://1972dodgedartcustomslant6.shutte ... m/pictures

The intake and Headers are both Clifford Performance.
The carburetor is a Weber 38.
The exhaust is 2.25 dual flowbastards with X pipe turned down at the axle.

Sounds good! But can't view you pics because they are set to "private" viewing

I think you can view if you have a shutterfly account.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I would have posted them here but that seems to take an act of wizardry. I am open to suggestions on where to post them to make them more accessable for everyone to view.
