OCG 346 cam dialed at 102, DCR just a tad under 9:1, way-too-big Holley 670 Avenger (loaner carb) and my home-built BillyBob exhaust. Lots of details left to cover, but I like it. Idles down to 500 if I want but sounds angry any old way. Please pardon my first attempt at video, it's not so hot but make sure your sound is on. I'll try to get a driving impression later, it sounds killer under power........

Not a big fan of glass pack mufflers but I'm warming up to it, maybe not so much love after extended highway cruising though. Here's my home-brewed 2 1/4" side exit exhaust that was meant to be temporary to get the car on the road, but I might stay with it......

Decided to strip and paint it with a little forced curing at both ends.

Sounds good Sprag. I am running a glass pack on my slant also. It is not to bad on the highway. I get more from the engine bay then the muffler. Think I might need some better insulation on the firewall.

Post subject:  Did you?

Get the baffles in the pack going the right direction before installing it?

I think if you do any large amount of highway cruising you will get tired of that tiny glasspack quick. At the very least get a longer one or replace it with a regular muffler.

Funny you mention that, right before I slip fit the muffler I looked inside to check the orientation of the directional lovers and there weren't none! Well Gaaaawleeey, I thought, I never seen that before, just perforations, no louvers or baffles at all.

After looking inside the muffler I figured even a small amount of highway time would get old!

This was meant to just get the car on the road within my deadline. I was going to do a full system with a tailpipe but laying on my back outside got old real quick. Some day it will get a flowmaster.
