Hey follks, I know I have seen it here but cant seem to locate the thread for recommended spark plug for the late model heads, I have a head off of an 83 van.

You only have one plug available:

NGK UR-5

If you need hotter UR-4, colder for UR-6.

I found on my hipo engine builds that UR-5 was too cold, and UR-4 was too hot and ended up with AC Delco R-45TS gapped at .040 as being 'just right' for some reason.

We do not have a readily available extended tip plug like the drool tube heads guys have, so you are stuck with the above options.
