Post subject:  temperature sending switch

ok I have several 65 an earlier heads got got a tricked out head that's an 83 there are 2 3/8s 18 threads on top no 1/8th pipe thread what can I do that would match well an accurately with my 63 gauge it and would the use of an adapter hold it out of the water/coolant side note does anyone no what the est piston deck clearance is with K1 rods and pistons for my plans of a future project

You buy a bushing and insert your temp sensor there, or you can use the 1980's temp sensor as the resistance isn't much different than the 1960's sensor.
