I'm talking about the long bolts that hold together the intake/exhaust manifolds with a gasket between them.

I've got two original bolts with threads up the shank that I will most likely re-use with some anti-seize compound.

The third bolt that goes through the middle of the intake and threads into the crotch of the exhaust manifold broke off and I had to have it drilled out.

Now I must replace this bolt and I just realized it must be shorter than the other two - does anyone know it's exact length?

A double ended 3/8" stud that's 3 3/4"-4" long. I had a few replacements made by an apprentice under me that did fastener machining on the side with his Dad.
(Sorry no spares left.) In failing to get a pre-made stud, you can a) buy a long bolt, cut to length and thread the shank as needed, or b) you might procure a 4-5" length of 3/8" all thread and go that route.

I prefer using a stainless steel bolt in that spot. In fact the other two are stainless also, so they don't corrode over time and are easier to remove.

I usually drill out the threads on the two outboard bolt locations on the exhaust manifold so the bolts can easily slide through, then use a washer and nut. It seals well that way. Assembly and diss-assembly go so much faster when switching intake manifolds.

Thanks for the suggestions. I managed to find some stainless bolts to use in this spot, so hopefully those combined with some anti-seize will work well.
