How long a length do you need? Earl's makes a really nice black nylon braided line that will hold up.

Regular rubber fuel line will break down and leak after awhile?

There is purpose made transmission oil cooler rubber hose you should be able to get at any typical parts place.

I run steel tube from the trans to about the bellhousing, then braided teflon from there forward.

Straight rubber heater hose degrades from the petroleum in the atf, makes them balloon up after a while and eventually leak. Go with the trans line from hayden or other trans outfits or purpose built hose.

I agree with Pierre on using the correct hose made for tranny fluid.
I Also run steel lines to the rear of the tranny, cross under the tailshaft and up the passenger side of the engine to keep the lines away from the heat of the headers. Just a thought.

Here is how the original pipes are drawn on Aspen/Volare, rubber hose only into the cooler.

Diagram highlights a good point: always run an aux cooler after the rad cooler.
