My headlamps have not worked since i've had the truck...All of the other lights work. From the testing that i've done i'm getting a good ground to the headlamp connector but i'm not getting 12v to the hot wire of the connector I've taken the dimmer switch off and it test good for continuity. According to the manual the yellow wire that runs from the dimmer switch to the headlamp switch is what sends the 12v to the head lamps I'm not getting 12v at the yellow wire were it connects to the head lamp switch. I don't think the head light switch could be bad if it allows the parking and side markers to work? |

I ended up using a jumper wire from the brown wire (parking, side marker) lights to the yellow wire (headlamps) and the lights will work...  I disconnected the headlight switch from the wiring harness to try and test for voltage on the wiring harness terminals. I could only get a voltage reading from the green wire (constant voltage wire) i'm not sure how to test the yellow wire for voltage at the wiring harness or how to test the headlamp switch when removed?
