a couple weeks ago I went to Wal-Mart and bought a NEW marine battery . it was $30 cheaper then auto/ 100 less cranking amps.. anyone ever run one? |

I had one in my Toyota truck once. Lasted about the same as a regular battery. Only had 36 month warranty. Should have plenty of cranking power, I'm using a smallish lawn and garden battery in my 64 Valiant without any problems. (I think I can get away with it because when the car is off, it's OFF; there's no parasitic drain from clocks, computer, alarms, etc. that you have with more modern cars) |
