NICE! I have a big soft spot for 64 Valiants. My very first slant six project car was a 64 Signet. Good score.

I know! I am trying to get both cars together this weekend.
My Dart GT is stored in a tiny garage that you have to pass thru two alleys to get through. So it's a real pain to get her out, it normally involves scraping a bumper or burning up the clutch.

So far here is the parts I have for the Valiant:

bilstein front shocks, all new ball joints and tie rod ends
11" cross drilled and slotted rotors, spindles and upper control arms
gabriel hijackers for the rear shocks
super six intake and a bunch of holley 2300's
I am buying the rear disc brake conversion from summit next week

what I am short:

proportioning valve and lines to handle my new dual master cylinder

8.25 or 8.75 LBP rear end I have good (open) gears for both collecting dust.

What I have already done:

70's style solid state charging system w/ 75 amp alt
accell coil, orange box (4 pin) and electronic ing dizzy

what I am doing today:

new thermostat and gasket mine leaks!

Thanks for the replys she is a sweet little car.

off of 128th and 8th street in burien, the guy had a mint 71 for sale that was more than I could afford. he also had some other rocking mopars that I also could not afford. SO I called him every day for a week begging him to sell me the valiant. He finally did, then I scrambled for the cash and took her home.

Post subject:  Tears

Been looking at some of these great cars. Makes me want to cry. Through a series of events I lost all my excellent sheetmetal to be used to straighten out my 63GT. Now I don't have the funding to buy all the parts again. I do still keep the car ready to go for nice days, but now am thinking of a "rat-rod" look. Gotta go now.
