Hello everybody,i am new here so bare with me.I just bought a 1971 Scamp 225 slant six with 50000 miles on it.I have never owned a six before,always had V8.I was thinking about putting a 340 in it which I have but would like to leave it stock.What is the cheapest way to get more power out of my 225.Thanks |

If the engine isn't good mechanically then you need to start there. After you do a thorough tune up including setting the valve lash I would work on the exhaust system, timing and carburetor jetting. |
