Anybody know where to find the manufacture date stamp on a slant 904? I was told that the one I have came from a 71 Duster. But it's painted blue so I'm guessing it's a reman.I know it's a 68 up because of the converter. :?:

I think on the later 904's that the part number and 10,000 day calender date code is stamped near the top of the driver's side pan rail.

My brother just looked over my shoulder and started laughing that I was posting to a guy named Romeo that needed a date...there goes my evening.

Romeo,
Should be on the left side/drivers side above the pan on the main body of the trans....Or in other words on the left side pan rail. It will need to be deciphered and I will try to find the link for you with that info.

Should, but don't count on it. I have taken apart several mid to late 70s 904 and most of them didn't have the PTK. I think I only found one out of the four that did. If you need one, T-Flite Patty as an eBay store and can hook you up quick and easy.
