Anybody know where to find the manufacture date stamp on a slant 904? I was told that the one I have came from a 71 Duster. But it's painted blue so I'm guessing it's a reman.I know it's a 68 up because of the converter. |

I think on the later 904's that the part number and 10,000 day calender date code is stamped near the top of the driver's side pan rail. -D.Idiot My brother just looked over my shoulder and started laughing that I was posting to a guy named Romeo that needed a date...there goes my evening. |

Romeo, Should be on the left side/drivers side above the pan on the main body of the trans....Or in other words on the left side pan rail. It will need to be deciphered and I will try to find the link for you with that info. |

Should, but don't count on it. I have taken apart several mid to late 70s 904 and most of them didn't have the PTK. I think I only found one out of the four that did. If you need one, T-Flite Patty as an eBay store and can hook you up quick and easy.
