no/no/no and no

200R4 is not a complete electric trans. they have never built a 200R4 at all. said I should go with a 1993? up total electric solenoid shifting 700R4 to get any benefit from their simple shift.

200R4 = small unit may fit A Body easily others have made a 200 fit over on FABO

700R4 = big unit probably body mods needed just to get it in place.

I had a 700R4 in my service vehicle, a 83 Chevy Van, many moons ago, it was a total POS needed rebuilding every 50K miles, and was constantly hunting between lock-up and correct gear.

Both would need adapter plate made to fit slant = extra $$$

It's not that bad, in fact it is a fairly easy "bolt in" for the Chevy Nova guys who want the OD gear in lieu of the THM350 unit behind their small block (my apprentice blew up his 250-1v and dropped in the 350-4v with 700R4 without mishap), given that the Nova is similar to the 67-76 A-body it would just be a matter of the chevy small block to slant six adapter plate and the crossmember mount to make it fit the mopar sheet metal (and maybe a little work with the BFH in some places).

There is no 93 up 700R4 The 7004R (derived from the TH350) morphed into the 4L60 till 93and 4L60E 94 up

There is a similar box to the 7004R called the 4L60E (94 up)that is computer controlled. It is far more sophisticated than the 4L60 before it.

The trans is controlled by the PCM .....which also controls the engine. Way over your head.

In your case I would use a 4L60 (no puter) and a very high stall convertor. If your car is heavy you will still break sun gears like everyone else.
