My transmission shifts fine and doesnt slip but it does make a gear type whine especially while floating along on flat ground and coming to a stop while the transmission is still in 3rd gear. It seems as though load either accelerating or decelerating makes the noise mostly go away but when im just cruising along at say 5-10% throttle or coming to a stop it really whines. Fluid is full and filter is new. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Some will do that and live a long life with the whine. If you really must have it quiet you'll need new/good used planetary gears.

Thank you for the reply, it works great so ill leave it be. I intend to put a manual transmission in down the road so i can live with gear whine haha.
