Attended the Memorial service today for Bob Lidell at the Redding Dragstrip. The Killer Bees Team was well represented, including Andrew Howard, Roy Murray, Sergio Gonzales, Glen Terry, Bruce & Wendy Pine. The service was moving, with full military honors and tearful family remembrances. Wendy Pine, Floral Designer, created a large yellow rose floral tribute enhanced with crossed checkered flags from the Killer Bees Racing Team. Joye Lidell was very grateful. At the family's request Killer Bees will make a contribution to "Wounded Warriors". Bob was a Viet Nam Vet. |
