is there a such thing ? I do need the "gasket" that goes in between the carb and the manifold

I doubt you need a carb spacer unless there is a interference issue with the throttle linkage or some other part.

As I remember the Holley 2280 is a replacement carb for the Carter BBD on some 318s I would guess that a spacer and gasket(s) from that application would work.

I have never seen one, but that doesn't mean you can't make one. The issue will be hood clearance if you go too tall.

Yes, you need the thick one so the linkage will clear the intake manifold.
