As many know I had an accident today. At the time I was surprised the engine had shutdown after it was on the wrecker I realized it was because the exhaust pipe was completely blocked. What damage could that have done to the engine?

Rings? Head Gasket? Valves?

probably didn't hurt anything. It just died because it couldn't breathe.
