Anyone have a handle on where to get the round foam seal for the fresh air vent and heater box? These are the ones that fit between the body and the units and are around 6" diameter and 3/4" wide 1/2" thick. Thanks John |

Like Reed I use 3M foam tape with adhesive on one side, should be available from your local home improvement place, or if you have a friend who is a tinner, he can swipe some gasket for TDC or Ward Flange duct work... -D.Idiot |

I think DMT - Detroit Muscle Technologies - sells those as well as heater rebuild kits. |

I know what a tenor is but WTF is a tinner? I'm a computer guy. I have tinnitus? Does that count? |

In Medieval times, that would be a tinker, I think. He was the guy who traveled from village to village repairing holes in metal pots and pans using his tinking hammer. There was a line in the song "If I were a Carpenter" that went "If a tinker were my trade..." Old guys like me are full of totally useless trivia, some of it actually true, some not, but all good for B.S sessions. P |
