if bearing is bad.

buy new bearings, and glue in my 5.38's gears..

yep err

the right wheel has a big rotation out issue, when I drive at low speed the car vibrates, go fast and it's manageable but makes a repeated noise ever since...

To replace the axle shaft bearings on the "old school" 7.25 (thru the mid/late 70's): Jack & safely support the rear of the car. Remove wheels & drums. Use a socket through the holes in the axle flanges (between the lugstuds) & remove the bearing retainer plate nuts (4 on 9" drum axle, 5 on 10"). Sometimes you can just pull the axle out now, but usually I've had to use a big slide hammer that secured to the lugs to smack it out.

the bearing is secured to the axle by a press-fit collar inboard. While you can cut or weaken the collar & beat the bearing off (& the new one on,) a big shop press makes short/easy work of the whole process. While you have things apart, it's a good idea to replace the oil seals in the axle housing (take care refitting the axle so you don't cut the new seal).

If your noise is in the differential you should get a FSM & see if it's something you want to tackle yourself.

looks like a bent axle wheel flange. the wheel when jacked up wobbles a tad, changed wheels and same.
