Just finished my HEI conversion today and I want to make sure I have the W and G wires wired correctly. With them wired the first way, my idle drops to 300 but it's doesn't sound bad. When wired the second way, it sounds exactly like before the swap, idle not smoothed out at all. I recorded a video on my phone so you can hear. I think the second way is correct. I apologize for the picture, had to have my phone compress it to e-mail it.

Thank you,

I can't really tell by the video...

When i recently set my hei conversion up i had them on wrong. But for me i could tell pretty much immediately after starting that it wasn't running, idling right

You probably just need to drive it both ways and see which one you like better...It seems like there will be a noticable difference

Sounds to me like it started much quicker hooked up the second way.

Thanks for the replies guys!

I've been driving on the second set up and it's been running good. Thank you all for your help!

Brandon
