I recieved a heavily used set of cragar ss 14 inch wheels from a friend in a trade for welding in some new floor panels on his duster. I would like to know what your thoughts are on running 235/65r14s on the front tires and 245/60r14s on the back. Will they fit. It will be a street car with 3.23 rear, stock cam a904. |

on my 66 the biggest i could fit in the rear is a 235/60/15 on a 15x7 rim. it rubs once in a while hitting a bump while in a turn. when i was running the 14 inch rims i could fit a 245/60/14 that was on a 14x5 rim. it looked kinda goofy the way it ballooned out but i didnt really care at the time. its been so long i cant remember if they rubbed or not. i would imagine we have similar wheel wells. i have 215/70/15 on the front on a 7 inch rim and they are nowhere near rubbing anything. may not answer your question but might give you an idea of what fits. my 15 inch rims are cop car steelies. the 14's were stock steelies from some 70's mopar i cant remember what i took them off of. probably a duster. |
