I'm in the process of removing trim and such before delivering the car to the painter. I'm stuck trying to remove the driver door mirror. I have the outside screw and underside door panel nut off. I don't know how to remove cable? Do I have to remove remote adjuster on the inside of door? If so how? Seems like it should unscrew but it doesn't want to unthread and I don't want to break it.

Suggestions?

I got it. The inside remote did finally thread off.
