It has come to my attention that one of our racers is competing with a car that has interior latex applied to it. Are there any rules existing that allow such an application of paint? CJ |

Why would the type of paint matter? |

Might have something to do about wind resistance or weight change. Richard |

Looks like Ceej picked a bad week to quit sniffing glue. |

Coupled with tree sap, it has been taking on a rather un-wholesome shade of brown. CJ |

Guess you should have used exterior latex. |

Has someone been eating the paint chips off the old windows? |

Well, I don't know if he's been doing that. It's possible he's been farming moss on it though. Perhaps Fopar and I should handle this. Crappy paint jobs are part and parcel to our team. Mr. Browne, I believe we should induct a deserving candidate into Tyrde-Browne racing. What are your feelings on this matter? CJ |

Yep. I'll need to check my records, but I think you know him. Drives a '68 four door. Another thing in his favor. Didn't skimp on doors. Now that we've established the appropriateness of his vehicle's appearance, we'll need to determine an appropriate initiation ritual. He lives out in the pucker brush, so we can't use the goat. CJ |

I've still got that big wash tub. Can you get some electric eels? CJ |

No but have a fence charger and a bunch of broken fan belts, would that work. Richard |

I think it may be exterior, it hasn't washed off yet..., and it is not moss, so much as farm dust and possibly mildew(moss would be green). Seems to look nice, after a good scrubbing with a ScotchBright pad. For a mostly "turn key" $200, /6 race/family car, can't complain too much. |

I think the fence charger will work. We'll have to see how the old fan belts perform. Mildew. Who knew. He ought to fit in just fine! Welcome to Tyrde-Browne racing Mike! CJ |

Mike didn't yelp too much when we hit him with the fence charger. The broken fan belts nearly broke him though. The marks will probably be gone in a couple weeks. When I took the blower belts out he panicked and threw a small dog in front of his face. Fortunately, we don't know who the dog belonged to, and Richard's cat ate it anyway. We took care of the evidence with some lye and a belt sander. Mike has been fully admitted to the order, and is now sworn to secrecy about our rituals and obscure half assedness. As Richard is the knight commander of O.H.A, I'll let him explain if there are any questions.
