any thoughts? I have two Weber 32/36 DGEV Carburetors so between them I can make a soild carb. I am going to use this on a cast iron super six manifold mostly because the stock rod linkage can be mod'd to fit it and I am looking to keep this simple, oh and cheap ![]() engine is a 1964 170 with low miles and good compression, I already have a supersix dizzy and IE on it and with the one barrel it moves pretty quick. |

I say swap and run it. Take the time to work on the 2bbl intake first, get rid of bad castings on the inside, make sure the front faces are planed so you get a good seal etc etc. I'd double check the "super six dizzy" verify part numbers, vacuum can, springs etc. there's plenty about them on here as I been reading about them. Just made an add on post up in electrical. Keep us posted. |

The Weber is not a bolt on. It will need an adapter. Since you need an adapter I would go for one the Holley 2300's you have siting in a box under the bench. If you don't want the use the Holley, I can sell you back one of Autolite's that I bought from you a few years back. I have a 1.01 with manual choke. It takes Holley jets... |

I just scored an offy intake ... New in the box even! So I am going with one of my smaller Holley four barrels on this one. |
