Hello,
Me again. Just an update about a scarebird disc brake conversion I did several years ago.
I believe i now have about 15k miles on the car since the swap.
although that is not alot of miles compared to daily driver type use, i am still pleased with the performance this combination delivers. Semi metallics. Minimal wear on the friction or rotors, everything still tight. I have pulled the wheels twice just to check the assemblys.
i was a bit sceptical as this conversion has you cut off an ear from the spindle.
All still looking good. Stopping power great, maybe now some time has passed, the friction is well seasoned.
Stops with confidence. My wife likes the car better than me.

The more I read about Scarebird, the more I like their stuff. This is the first long term report I've seen, and it looks good.
I'm seriously thinking about going that way on my '63 Dart. it'll be a while, due to other projects but it's on my list.

Thanks for the update. I've been thinking about this one as well with how expensive the KH brakes have gotten.
