I am putting the pistons in another motor and when I got the new rings out to install them they instructions do not state which ring goes in which spot. They both have a dot on them so I know which side is up. But one has the bevel on the bottom side and one has it on the top. So which one goes where?

This is factory pistons and Federal Mogul rings.

I'll be setting here waiting for a reply, because I know someone is waiting with the answer.

If the bevel is on the inside the bevel goes towards the bottom on the 2nd compression ring.
