I'm looking for a solid Slant Six builder in Western Canada... I have a project in mind and I'd like some help in dealing with machining and working through a '74 225. Thanks for your help. - A Wilson |

I'm from there, from what I remember Western Canada is a larger than average place, you might want to narrow the location down some for a better recommendation lol! |

Saskatchewan, Alberta, BC... I live in Saskatoon right now, but will be moving to Calgary in the next year or so. So either of the three provinces will do; I don't mind travel for quality parts and components. |

I'm from Moose Jaw, lived in Lethbridge, Saskatoon & Calgary along the way. I DON'T recommend anyone at all in Moose Jaw or Regina - very shoddy workmanship at almost every shop I've ever been to over the years and no one will stand behind their work. My recommendation is to go with a Calgary based machinist. There are plenty of reputable shops there. The one I used to deal with moved to Ontario so that won't be any help. I'd try pinging the car clubs in the area for one that deals with older race & hot hod stuff to get some suggestions. |
