My 66 dart cranks and runs great. I had only made short trips (10-15 minutes) until yesterday I drove about 20-25 miles and the engine stalled at a stop sign and wouldn't crank up. I was getting fuel and spark. My thinking is I lost compression. I let it sit for about 45 min and it fired right up.

Any thoughts on what the problem is and how to fix it?

One source to eliminate: If it happens again, try removing your gas cap right away, listen for air rushing in. If so, you have vacuum in your fuel tank, caused by faulty tank ventilation system.
