I went to AAR Fiberglass the other day in Cocoa Florida. Very nice people.I wanted to talk to the owner about a cover for my truck bed but he was gone on a trip to a car show in Ohio but I talked with his dad. I asked if I could look around the shop and he took me right to it. I know next to nothing about making fiberglass parts and I'm sure it showed in the questions I asked but they answered all the questions I could come up with. I saw the type of hood I want for my truck ( R/T scoop on a mid 80's truck) and it was beautiful. I was suprised to hear that the hoods for the street use the stock latch mechanisms. The hinges need lighter springs but they are supplied with the kit. The website is www.aarqualityfiberglass.com . About 99% of the stuff they make such as hoods, bumpers, fenders, and trunklids are for Mopars. They even have some 2003 mopar hoods to use in making some new molds. www.aarqualityfiberglass.com . Check it out.

Cool,
There is nothing like the smell of a "chopper gun" fiberglass shop.
The air quality cops have banned all these shops out here in CA.

I was going to mention how much I have always liked the smell of curing fiberglass when I wrote about AAR but I thought people would think I'm weird. There is a boat manufacturer ( sea-ray I think) in Edgewater Florida that I have to drive by when going to a freinds of mines house, and I always roll down my window so I dont miss the smell.

Thanks for the link! I wasn't even sure if anyone made any fiberglas hoods for my Dart Custum 1973. Most everyone makes them for the older years with the flatter, muscle car type look. Good price too, unfortuneately I'm guessing shipping's a killer.
