Anyone ever use it?

Haven't heard of anyone using it, the 51515 already is tight near the top of the block (where the head meets the top of the lifter gallery)...on some of the newer melling pumps the casting can be a little off and kind of goof up the alignment and cause a problem with installing anything longer...I would suppose it would be easier to get on as well if the stand pipe weren't installed so it could just be slipped on the threaded 'nub'....

I've used it. A search shows some others do too. Yes it was a bit tricky getting the oil filter wrench on - forces you to use the strap type wrenches. I gave up on them... these days I just run 51806, normal size with built in standpipe.
