Does anyone know what model of holley jet to buy off ebay that will fit the holley 1920? Example: holley 122-58

Any aftermarket holley 2 or 4 barrel...holley 1850-3, 0-8007, 0-7448, 0-4412, 0-1848...they only are sold in pairs unless you have a local mom and pop speed shop that sells singles.

So, the jets in this auction would work?

Yep, those are the ones, but they are number 58's (122 is the jet part number and the 58 being the jet size) which would be too lean for a Holley 1945, but just right for a Holley 1920...

I'm going to try out the 1920 economaster in the next month or so...it has a 55 jet already in it. I figure that will be too lean especially with the HEI ignitor.

The holley 1920 that is already on the truck when i rebuilt it i didn't look at the jet size, so i'm not sure what i'm using right now. I'm probably about 2 or so turns out and it may still be a little lean i haven't re-checked a plug after richening it a little last time i pulled a plug.

I was going to get a 56,57,58 to start out with...

I think I'd start with 57 and work to 58 on a truck...56 was standard in some late 60's Holley 1920 cars so I know it is a little lean for that body...

Glad you got the assortment....
I have used the 57 for years.....and tried all the way up to 64's. As a mileage miser....
You may like the #56 jet since the Economaster has a dual stage progressive plunger on the power valve. I have found that the mileage jumps up and is more consistent using the 56 over the 57. Something to try....have fun!

Thanks for the responses Ted! I live in the "Valley of the Sun" Phoenix metro area so there is very low humidity and hotter temperatures year round. In the summer it'll be 105 to 120 most of the time...

So you think the #56 will be rich enough and that's where i should start? It would be nice if i knew what i was already running right now  i'm about 2 turns out on whatever jet size i'm using...

So you got the Economaster rebuilt and installed?
Two turns out is a nice place.....must be in good condition.
The reason I say don't discount the #56 is because of the dual stage power valve. Pretty nice design feature. It is so smooth and being your running on the flat most of the time.....no huge mountain passes to climb like up here. That is when I switch to the #57 so I have a little more oomph for passing. I go down to Mesa every couple of years for conferences.

If your running empty most of the time it is worth it. I get no worse than 22.4 mpg and that is all local driving (stop and go) for this winter which is a good test and that is on a tired stock 1979 motor that is internally untouched that I resurrected from the dead (under a pile of hay for 10 years)! It was so crudy it took about two hours to drain the clumps of oil out of it. In fact it only ran on 5 cylinders most of the way home (40 miles) from the barn where I found it and installed it. Lots of tranny fluid and Rislone flushes and synthetic oil freed up the rings and good valve lash and it was running on a 6. I swear these motors never die and with a little love run a long, long time. This one has gone nearly 300,000 now.....and doesn't smoke and idles perfectly. Sorry for the ramble, just some context for the mileage numbers and a little history.

I can hardly wait to get my 9.5 to one motor back in the engine bay this summer.

I haven't installed the economaster yet 2 turns out on the air fuel is on the current 1920 that i got off a 72 dart swinger...i'm getting the economaster ready for the install, i'm ready to try it out! It looks to be in pretty good shape it's a ROS (rebuilt old stock)

Yes, i only do occasional hauling with light to moderate loads...right now, i only put about 500 miles a month on the truck. I'll try the #56 i'm willing to sacrifice a little power output for a little better fuel economy

About 2 weeks ago i bought a 60 to 64 era slant 6 from a guy locally that came out of Seneca for $50 he ended up giving me the 3 speed transmission that was on it...i figure it will be good practice taking it apart and not having to worry as much about it. It came with the intake, exhaust manifolds, carter BBS carb, and the original actual generator
