I'm switching over from 170 three on the on a 64 dart to a 1968 225 dart engine can anybody tell me will my flywheel interchange or what do I need. ? Have not pulled the 170 yet thanks. |

No you need a 68 and up flywheel but you may want to wait until you pull the motor maybe the engine has been replaced before and it may have a newer engine. Also the exhaust pipe may need a 1 inch spacer at the manifold the 225 is 1 inch taller block Brian |

for the 1968 engine you need a 1968-1987 flywheel...or if the 225 is going to the machine shop you can pull your current pre-68 flywheel and have the shop hone the center out to the larger crank register... Which ever is easier and most economical for you. -D.idiot |
