I have to put in a new tank in my D100, the in-cab tank is too far gone to repair. If I buy a fuel cell from summit racing they have different choices for the included fuel sender. What does Dodge use? Also, what other fuel sending units (different car makers) will work with the Dodge gauge? Rob |

don't know what year your D-100 is, but my stock 83 D-150 was 76 ohm empty and 8 ohm full,, dash gauges were 5 volt the 91 tank and sendor that I put in its place is 121 ohm empty and 4 ohm full, those gauges are 12 volt ez to check with a multi-meter,, if you don't have one, take the sendor to a shop that does automotive electrical repair,, they will be able to check it in minutes. you want to get the fuel gauge and tank sendor to match,, or the gauge may not read full when full and or empty when low.. |

1971 D100. I was doing some research and found that the gauge should show empty @10 ohms, full at 70-80 ohms. I bought the fuel cell with sender that is 0-90 ohms, 0 being empty and 90 being full, so it should work out just fine. |

Quote: empty @10 ohms, full at 70-80 ohms
that looks to be the same as my 83,, I must have swapped the empty and full values when I made notes,,good luck on your project. ![]() |
