A friend of mine started a huge project on a rusted out -69 Signet (with /6 of course) when he had a great idea. He had bought it from his brother several years ago for a parts car that in turn had bought it from me years before. He used parts from it for his -67 slant 6 Valiant that he had put mega-squirt and turbo in, and uses as a daily driver. The idea he has is to drive the car eastbound (from Finland where we live) through Russia to China. He has put up a website with a blog and lots of pictures of the project. The story is in English also, but the blog is in Finnish only at the moment. Check out anyway the blog, you will understand from the pictures what a huge amount of work this guy has made already. UPDATE!! The Signet is now finished and registered once again... The blog has tons of text (in English) and pictures/slide shows. Check it out and comment. |
