| Post subject: | Coolant Pump Question |
Anyone know how to take apart a coolant pump? The flex plate on mine is pretty rusty so I wanted to clean it up and clean the corosion on the inside of the housing. I can't figure out how to get it apart... Thanks! |

If you mean the engine mounted water pump it takes a press to assemble and disassemble. |

Yes, that's the pump I'm referring to. Do you know which way it presses out? |

Leave it alone or replace the assembly. You'll only make yourself miserable attempting to disassemble the water pump. |
