Post subject:  DadTruck 83 D150
This 1983 D-150 is intended to be a good weather daily driver and occasional drag strip runner. It is the vehicle I have for 2014 M-D and Clay City,, so I plan to get it going the best that it is capable of.
Will never be a tire smoker,, what it will be, is yet to be determined.

I have started a spread sheet, listing the details from 2013 at Clay City. Plan to make a few t&t passes at local strips ahead of M-D, and I will add those on to the list.

I am expecting some measurable improvement from 2013 Clay City, now that I have fixed the proportioning valve and the front disks are releasing when the brake pedal lifts, and not 45 seconds later.
Today I re set the distributor timing,, went from 5 degrees initial to 10 degrees. The slant seemed to like that. I am also setting up a spare distributor to push the initial and mechanical advance beyond the 24 degrees it is now. I have a spare 2280 carb with larger jets that I want to try...
