u know I'm old school when I would try to get people to a meet I was having. I would have a date time place with links to all. it's almost like you only want to get click peeps there. are you not interested in gathering new slant sixers and/or just those that have an interest.. drag racing peeps like all classes specific stickers for meets..patches...75-80 use to have class sticker for a win. some old race cars wore them covering rear side windows and you knew that they were winners.. |

I think everyone has tried their best to get new racers to come out. Some guys won't come out because they don't own a race car. The cost of fuel, turnpike tolls, hotel, and total weekend expense really hurts and people just can't afford it. I have talked to numerous guys with slant six cars in my area and they just don't have any interest in racing or they seem like they are interested and you never hear from them again. |

Suffice it to say, I put a lot of effort into trying to have a good turnout and a good payout as well as trophies / plaques for the winners. We try and make Mason Dixon a great race for the new folks as well as the returning racers. We want them, to want to return and bring there friends too. We are, however, a very small little family.
