You'll need a readable pic of the fender tag. Should be A31 for that year. If your using a decoder make sure its 76 model year specific. |

any ideas on current true value? in your opinion do you believe it will increase say 6% a year in value... as a stored/Sunday ride investment |

A-body is just not an investment, and late dusters are just not there when it comes to price (blue book shows that a 1976 is more valuable than a 1973 due to lack of numbers...but nobody wants a 1976 due to smog, they want a 1970-1972...)..It's only worth what you think you will enjoy and hopefully sell it for... people dream at $6000, typically they go for much less ($2500). There was an original Silver colored spirit of '76 Automatic, 1 owner, garaged while owned up in washington, went for $6750, had about 113K on the clock...had lots of documentation. Given that the color isn't correct for 1976, and the hood is black already smacks of issues (and who knows if they got a late one that is missing one of the vital aluminum parts). FYI. |

He can post a pic of the car, but can't verify the fender tag with a picture that starts to sound a little...fishy (and not the Barracuda...fishy)
