I have a '72 Plymouth Valiant 4dr and I was lucky enough to get the original car sales contract and window sticker (suggested retail price label)with it. These 2 items are basically the same except the sales contract lists the buyers name/info and salesman.
This car was equipped with the 318 engine and deluxe interior. When I get time I could scan the window sticker and send you a copy to show the price break down of all the options.
In the case of my car it had a base price of $2,483.00 and with options and destination it came to a total of $3558.30 on March 14, 1972.
I know its not specific to your car but this gives you a general idea for a 318 1972 Plymouth Valiant 4dr. This car came with A/C, Power steering, 10" drums all around, auto transmission, tinted glass, vinyl roof, rear defroster, light package, 3 speed wiper, white sidewall tires etc....
I am not sure who you would contact for the details on your car but maybe someone else can point you in the right direction.
Good luck!

THANKS! I'm sure mine is closer to the low end. Was the 198 base and 225 an upgrade in 72? I have 225, auto, vinyl top, power steering. Pretty basic! Doing a KH SBP brake swap...cuz the non-power 9" drums aren't cutting it!

I have my original receipt for my 68. The 225 option was $45 over the 170. The automatic transmission and solid black tires cost more than it on mine. Deluxe green interior with green interior paint was $2,988 and the order said to fix the return spring.
