I just wanna know if anybody whos done it or seen it could give me a ballpark of where this new setup will put me (once I get the gaskets and kickdown cable it is going to be bolted on)

1972 225 with 75k original miles.

Mopar aluminum 2bbl intake and rebuilt Carter BBD

Hooker Super Competition 3-1 "dual" header.

4 and 6 inch long 2.25 collectors that Y into a single 2.5 inch exhaust with a flowmaster 40.

Going to get my timing and valve lash to spec this week hopefully.

Any ideas??

Im hoping it will be atleast a 20 crank horsepower gain, I think long tubes over stock V8 manifolds are worth atleast that, and i know the 2bbl alone is worth 10...

If you get it tuned right, you will probably see 20-25 at the wheels. :D

Awesome thanks for the response!

Was starting to think I was being ignored
Haha.

I think that is a good place to start for me, I know a lot of people prefer the Dutras for street use, and I may have to raise my car for the headers to have reasonable clearance, but I don't mind.

Hopefully I can get it tuned right! These 1920s have given me all sorts of trouble. I'm thinking they really weren't meant to be messed with and anyone who can tune them well must be close to a miracle worker, haha.
