I just scored the complete kickdown linkage on ebay for $99.49 shipped! (The seller was even kind enough to take pictures of it on the vehicle before being pulled, even the springs and the tiny "c" clip retainers are included!)
I know I know, a little pricey, but considering the deal I got on the headers the BBD and the aluminum mopar intake I really think I did pretty well for myself on this one :D

Also should note I am not using a regular air cleaner but making a home brewed "cold air intake" using some 2.5" intercooler silicone elbows, hose clamps and 2.5 inch aluminum intake piping (various bends and lengths ment for hondas)

Now my only thing left to consider is gaskets. Does anyone have any reccomenedations? I know any "oem quality" intake gasket will do, but any special considerations for the thin flanged Hookers?

only use the remflex if youre not planning to take off the intake/ exhaust anytime soon. it will split, fall apart, and make a big mess if its taken off. i wouldnt reccomend it for headers.

Unfortunately I have to disagree with part of this, while yes probably not re-usable if taken apart, I don't feel ANY gasket should be reused. They are however strongly recommended for headers, especially cheap headers with thing flanges that are guaranteed to leak...

FWIW- I am a total cheapskate and will reuse gaskets if I can. I have sucesfullly reused Felpro intake gaskets and even head gaskets. My one experience with a Remflex intake gasket was that it completely fell apart when the manifolds were pulled off the head. Remflex is great for the exhaust manifold flange to pipe gasket, but I wouldn't use it for the head to anifold union.

I'm not really into re-using gaskets, as long as it seems to hold up well for headers.

Someone please school me on this...where is the super 6 kickdown to be mounted when using headers? I thought it was bolted to exhaust manifold in a coupla places...

Lowbrow,
there are two bolts that mount one bracket about an inch below the intake.
I plan on making an extended aluminum or steel bracket to bolt ontop of the EGR block off and bend slightly in and down, drill my two needed holes and bam! Original kickdown with a header.

I saw someone who had a picture where they were using headers on super six. For the kickdown they just had two spacers going down, used the same 4" bolts and the spacers took the place of the exhaust manifold.
