I've been told that the 65 cuda fromt fenders and hood will fit the 65 valiant. is that the case? The p.o. had the hood blow up on him and ripped out the passenger side bolt attachments of the underside of the hood and somehow damaged the fenders at the top and the alignment. I really need to figure out how to repair the hood or to find a new/used one to replace it with. another question, how can I tell if the hood springs are shot? |

I think the '64 barracuda fenders are also the same as the '65 Valiant |

They will fit and work, but the "crease" that angles downward from the front of the fender is different, between the 64 and 65 Valiant. I think the 64 and 65 Barracuda have the crease the same as the 65 Valiant. PS: 64 and 65 Valiant and Barracuda hoods are interchangable, but the hood latch and front emblem are different between 64 and 65. These parts can be swapped with minor mods. |
